More information about Zlatni Rat

Zlatni Rat is a white pebble beach located on a small peninsula on the island of Brac, about 2 kilometers from Bol. It has been awarded and listed as one of the best beaches in Europe on a regular basis, and it’s one of the most popular places to visit in this region.

The distinct shape of its tip has become a famous symbol of tourism in Croatia. Drone photos from above appear frequently in travel brochures, and for a good reason, the beach is stunning.

What’s even more interesting about Zlatni Rat is the fact that the tip changes its appearance. The tip can go both east and west or even straight forward. The exact shape varies depending on currents, wind, and tide.

However, there are always 2 beaches available on each side of the pine grove above the beach, and of course the spit of land itself.

If you come here during the summer, you’d, of course, want to go for a refreshing dip in the Adriatic sea. Just don’t swim out too far since there can be strong currents at times.
