Radisson Blu Bremen is a 4-star hotel located right at the doorstep of the city center and Schnoorviertel in Bremen. Here’s a full review of Radisson Blu Bremen along with my thoughts, photos and some more info about the hotel.
Room Standard (Junior Suite)
There are 5 different categories to choose from at Radisson Blu Bremen.
- Standard Room
- Superior Room
- Business Class
- Junior Suite
- One-Bedroom Suite
The room standard I and Christine stayed in was one of their Junior suites, which is quite big as it comes with approx 38 m2. It’s a spacious suite with a bedroom part/working space, bathroom and a small living space area at the entrance with a TV, Sofa chair, and a desk-type table (great for work).
The bedroom comes with a big comfy bed and fluffy pillows. In there, you also have a TV, coffee machine, sofa chairs, a “makeup” table with a mirror with built-in lights (which was much appreciated by Christine). The room also comes with complimentary Wi-Fi, which worked well across the hotel.
This Is What You Get When Booking A Junior Suite at Radisson Blu Bremen:
- Comfortable bed and pillows
- Bathroom with bathtub/shower, free toiletries, and hairdryer
- Robes and slippers
- Armchairs and table

Breakfast
The breakfast is of a great standard at Radisson Blu Bremen, and you know that us Swedes love a good full breakfast with various options. Here you can choose between a lot of fresh products and dishes. Another plus is the fact that as a vegetarian I found plenty options to eat, which isn’t always the case while staying at hotels.
But Radisson Blu has a good selection for the breakfast buffet ranging from cold to warm dishes as well as fruits, freshly baked bread, coffee, tea, and juice.
Outside The Room
Outside the hotel room, there’s the lobby, a pool, and a gym for the guests to use. It’s down by the lobby that you’ll find the breakfast buffet during the mornings and dinner and drinks during the evenings.

The Indoor pool that I can recommend you to visit for some relaxation. It’s also down here that you will find the fitness center.

Staff
I would say that the staff at this hotel knows how to welcome their guests, and they’re also helpful with tourist maps and explaining where the city center and common tourist attractions are being located from the hotel.
The breakfast staff were polite and it seems like it’s a great working harmony here as the staff is smiling and greeting everyone. The check in and check out went quickly. And when we couldn’t get out from the parking garage (you need to scan your card first or pay downstairs if it’s not included in your stay), they sorted it quickly as well.
WiFi
The WiFi is working great at Radisson Bremen. And you can watch tv-series and work from your laptop easily. We tried it in our room, down by the lobby and also at the breakfast/restaurant. The speed is good and the Wi-Fi is reliable.
Location
This hotel is literally just around the corner from the Market Square, Schnoorviertel, the river and the shopping street. If you want to experience the best of Bremen, the location is superb. It’s also convenient if you come from the airport, as it’s just about 10 minutes away by car or 25 minutes by public transport.
I would say that Radisson Blu has the perfect location in Bremen for tourists. The street in the photo below is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Summary Of Our Stay At Radisson Blu Bremen
Overall, I would say that Radisson Blu Bremen is a great hotel, no matter if you’re a business traveler or a regular tourist. We only stayed for 1 night, but I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Bremen again.
Our room was great and spacious, the bed was comfy and big enough, and the breakfast was of great standard as well. Wi-fi is working properly, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is on point.
Will I Recommend You To Stay Here?
Yes, definitely! No matter if you come here just for 1 night or stay several nights, you have everything you need here within walking distance, and you have everything you could wish for from a hotel.
