At the beginning of March, Christine and I went on a weekend trip to Paris, and since it was our first time in the city, we wanted to stay close to the famous Eiffel tower. So, our choice fell on Novotel Tour Eiffel, which is within walking distance to the Eiffel tower and a metro station!
Here’s a full review of our stay at Novotel Tour Eiffel in Paris, and what you can expect as a hotel guest over there!
Short description of Novotel Tour Eiffel
Novotel Tour Eiffel is a 4-star hotel, and a member of AccorHotels, just a few minutes walk from one of the world’s most recognized landmarks. Room Standard – Standard Room with Queen Size Bed
There are 4 room types at Novotel Tour Eiffel, and the Standard room is their entry-level. It’s available from around 200 Euros per night. The room is spacious, has a comfy bed, a desk, and a bathroom equipped with a bath tube.
The toilet was located next to the door, which is quite nice to have separated from the bathroom. The TV is a modern flat-screen and comes with several channels. Most of them were in French, but there were also quite a few in English and Italian.
The Standard room is great for business travelers, couples or solo travelers. The Queen size bed is comfortable and big enough for 2 people. The pillows were nice as well, and I woke up rested and fresh the next morning!
We had a great view from our room where we could see the Seine river and the city.

Staff
The Staff at Novotel Tour Eiffel were always friendly and helpful. Room service is available, which we called to get a wine-opener. When he arrived, he offered to open the wine for us and also gave us 2 wine glasses. I think it took about 5 minutes after we called, so I will say great and fast service!
At check-in, everything went smoothly and we were welcomed with a smile. This was also true at the Breakfast restaurant as well as during check-out. If you need any tips and recommendations for Paris, you can always talk with the hotel’s concierge.
WiFi
The Wi-Fi connection at Novotel Tour Eiffel worked great throughout the property, and we had no issues at all. Speed was pleasant, and we could even watch Netflix on our laptops without a problem.
Location
The location is ideal for first-time visitors who want to be close to the metro as well as the Eiffel Tower. From here you can walk to Trocadero and you also have some shopping in your proximity. In addition to the Metro system, you can also walk to a close-by RER station.
It’s easy to get here from Paris Orly Airport as well as CDG Airport and Beauvais, where low-cost airlines such as Ryanair flies to.
