Turkish cities in the future
Istanbul is one of the fastest-growing cities and has an annual growth rate of 3.45%. Just like in many other countries, there is a trend where people are moving into the major cities in Turkey because of education and job opportunities.
Additionally, in recent years, there has been an influx of refugees, mainly from Syria. This has led to rapid population growth and it’s uncertain whether they will be able to move back to Syria in the future, or if Turkey will be their new permanent home.
